- Do not store cantaloupes with: watermelons, bananas, apples stone fruit, pears, avocados, grapes, kiwi, mixed melons, tomatoes, or cucumbers.
- Cantaloupes produce high levels of ethylene, which will negatively effect the shelf life of these products. Watermelons are HIGHLY sensitive to ethylene.
